WBS BOOKS - A site developed in PHP, MySQL and JQuery. Working for WBS Books as a contractor in Wickford, ESSEX, to take over the project written using PHP and MySQL, the site had to read a large XML file over night. All development was carried out using LAMP stack on UBUNTU and we also used SOLR to search data. Also while at WBS I was tasked with installing Windows Server and SQL Server and setting up a reporting server and use SSIS and SSRS to serve reports to WBS Management. Also while here I was asked to create a reporting tool for management, written using VB.net and SQL Server and Crystal reports, the site was internal and the video above shows it in use.
